Can I Add a 40% Off-Peak Discount Supplement to My NS Flex Weekend Vrij Subscription?

Hi everyone,

I currently have an NS Flex Weekend Vrij subscription & my subscription period ends on January 3rd.

Before my subscription ends, I plan to travel on a weekday, and I'm interested in adding the 40% discount for off-peak hours supplement to my current NS Flex Weekend Vrij subscription.

I wanted to ask if it's possible to add this supplement to my existing subscription, and if so, how should I go about doing it? Will it be active immediately after I add it, or are there specific conditions I need to be aware of?

Hi Phoenix Rising,

You should change your subscription to NS Flex Weekend Vrij and then select the 40% discount-option. It will be active immediately.
You can do this yourself in Mijn NS if you have your current subscription for at least a month. Otherwise you could contact Customer Service to see if they're willing to add the option.

Note that subscriptions are always continuous. They never end automatically.

As mrfreeze has stated: you can change the subscription via your Mijn NS-account and if you have any difficulties, then you can contact our Customer Service. Changes within NS Flex are always immediate and the subscription has no end date, but is renewed every month until you cancel the subscription.
