Delayed Payment

Dear NS,

I have received email about my delayed payment for December. However in the email, it is indicated if I haven't pay until 16th January, I will get a fine. As I haven't been in Netherlands for the last 4 weeks I forgot to pay. Is it possible to pay it until 31st January?

NS isn't usually keen on agreeing to delayed payments but in any case you should reach out to their customer service to make your request. This community is solely for travellers to help each other out. You reach them through phone, the chat at ns.nl, social media or (not electronic) mail.

On a sidenote, I don't understand why you can't pay (right now, still on time) without being in The Netherlands.
