How to cancel traject vrij when leaving the Netherlands?

Hello, I am moving out of the Netherldands and I tried to cancel my yearly Traject Vrij Abonnement but found out I still have to pay until the end of the subscription, even if I am no longer working/living here because I still have 3 months on the abonnement.

Is there a way to cancel it altogether? Could I change my yearly to a monthly abonnement (and pay for the difference until now) and then cancel it?

Appreciate advice, thank you!
