Hi,

I have purchased the free weekend subscription for my OV chipkaart. Would I still need to pay €3 supplement to travel on Intercity Direct trains?

Yes, you definitely need to pay this .But not €3,00. You do have to pay the supplement for ICDirect  separately, beween Rotterdam CS and Schiphol Airport. During off peek hours there is a reduction, and with this subscription you will always have this during the weekend. All hours are off peak on Saturday and Sunday and on Friday evening from 18.30, even 18.25, as well. Your price will be €1,80 for one ride.

Niet de réiziger op 1, 2 en 3, maar de betálende reiziger op 1,2 en 3! Wat meer controle en handhaving roept geen agressie op, maar voorkomt het juist. De opgekropte ergernis van de betalende reiziger mag best wat meer meetellen.

The IC direct supplement is only needed for travel between Schiphol Airport and Rotterdam.

Alles hier post ik op persoonlijke titel, ben geen NS medewerker.
