Switching subsription

On 31 August I switched my subscription from Altijd Vrije (used for more than a year) to Dal Vrije. As I understand, my Altijd Vrije subsription should be valid till the end of August (because I have paid the full subscription fee for that month) so I checked in at 18.18. Later on I realized that the amount of full fare was charged for my journey. My question is: am I allowed to claim the refund? And if so, how.
