I have a question regarding the NS Groepsticket
We are travelling in a group of 6 people from Kerkrade to Amsterdam and we have booked the NS Groepsticket for the same
Since there are no direct connection to Amsterdam from Kerkrade, we have to change out connections to reach there
We wanted to know about the trains that we can take during this travel, i.e. are allowed to take all stoptreins and Intercities ?

Hello Squishyhero and welcome to our NS Serviceforum.

With that ticket you are allowed to travel in the Off-Peak hours (one way) from Kerkrade to Amsterdam. This means that whatever advice rolls out of our NS Reisplanner, you can use all trains and transportation that is mentioned in the planner itself. In your case this will involve taking the Sprinter (Arriva) from Kerkrade to Heerlen, then taking the NS Intercity directly to Amsterdam Central.

You can even visit all the stations that you pass by as well. If you need any other information, please ask. This is your topic where all our forummembers can advise you! 🙂

Yes, you are allowed to take any kind of train, as long as you are travelling in the direction of Amsterdam.
