There is a lack of train conductors and train drivers. It is hard to predict when it will be normal again.

NS should however improve their communication about the changes due to staff shortages. At the moment there are a lot of reduced frequencies which were not part of the changes as of September 5th, but aren't mentioned on the page with staff-shortage related changes either.

For today it says “geen verdere aanpassingen” (no further changes), but frequencies of the Sprinters between Lelystad and Almere and for example also between Alkmaar and Hoorn are reduced to once an hour.
