Sprinters tussen Almere en Lelystad

Hi,

The sprinters between Almere and Lelystad are reduced to 50% in the weekend.

The cancellation reason is not shown in NS website.

Does anyone know the reason? And when the sprinter frequency will be back to normal in the weekends?

There is a lack of train conductors and train drivers. It is hard to predict when it will be normal again.

Niet de réiziger op 1, 2 en 3, maar de betálende reiziger op 1,2 en 3! Wat meer controle en handhaving roept geen agressie op, maar voorkomt het juist. De opgekropte ergernis van de betalende reiziger mag best wat meer meetellen.

NS should however improve their communication about the changes due to staff shortages. At the moment there are a lot of reduced frequencies which were not part of the changes as of September 5th, but aren't mentioned on the page with staff-shortage related changes either.

For today it says “geen verdere aanpassingen” (no further changes), but frequencies of the Sprinters between Lelystad and Almere and for example also between Alkmaar and Hoorn are reduced to once an hour.
