3 trains cancelled - took bus instead. Monthly ticket. How can I claim my money back?

3 trains cancelled last Thursday - took bus instead. Monthly ticket (traject vrij for my route). How can I claim my money back? NS keeps turning my claims down as the way it is set up does not take these circumstances into consideration.

I lost 3 days of my monthly ticket due to strikes earlier on this year. Why would not NS reimburse automatically??? as traject vrij tickets are paid upfront?!

I am sorry to read that you got delayed by 3 cancelled trains. It is only possible to request a refund for a delay when you checked in and out by NS. If you decide to take a bus instead, these costs are not included in your subscription and will not be reimbursed.
