Geld terug bij vertraging

My claim on 13 october was rejected

Wij hebben uw aanvraag voor 'Geld terug bij vertraging' met als reisdatum 13 oktober 2015 ontvangen en geregistreerd onder claimnummer 41004195.

My planned route was 17:00 Amsterdam Centraal -Breukelen

The train had to stop between Amsterdam Amstel and Duivendrecht because a train in front of us had issues and could not run so we had to go back.
The train went back to Amsterdam Amstel afer a while.
I went out and took the metro to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena and then the next train to Utrecht

At Utrecht Central many train were canceled but a around 18:35 I got a train, I was in Breukelen 18:49

I that is not a delay I wonder what is needed to get money back?

According to this page said train did indeed not run further than Amsterdam Amstel. According to this page train services were greatly disrupted due to a broken train and other trains to Breukelen did not run for several hours.

I'm surprised this information doesn't show up in your records.

Hi Anenils, and welcome to the forum.

I looked at your claim. According to our records, your train left Amsterdam Central 4 minutes later than planned. In the end, there was a delay of 6 minutes. You write that this train went back to Amsterdam Amstel. Our records do not show this.

If you went back to Amsterdam Amstel, you could take a train to Breukelen, which goes every 13 minutes from Amstel. Why did you take the metro to Bijlmer, and then a train to Utrecht?

Bedankt dat je dit aangeeft, Tochjo. Ik zie inderdaad dat die trein is uitgevallen. Er lijkt voor deze reis een bug te zitten in ons portaal, dat ik meteen met hoge prio heb doorgezet naar de beheerders van deze applicatie. De claim van Anenils heb ik nu alsnog goedgekeurd.
