Receiving lost property

Hi.

I lost my wallet on a train and it has been found. I am residing in the Netherlands. Can I not just go pick it up or do I have to go through the shipping method?

Hello Guan123 and welcome at our community,

 

In the first 5 days you can pick it up at a station. After five days, items are sent to the Central Lost and Found Desk. Once your item has arrived there, we can only send it to you. This costs at least € 15. You can find more information over here. Please reach our customer service to figure out if your wallet is still at the station or if you can send it to your home.

If you are still in NL and it was found, you can pick it up at the service desk where it was brought to within 5 days.
