i returned the OV-bike but i received the email which said i didnt.
The problem you encountered is that Hillegom still has the old type of OV fiets with keys. As you've rented a bike with the new lock in Hoofddorp, following the procedure for returning in Hillegom will have had no effect as there is no communication between the new lock and the locker you've put it in.
For now, you'll need to call customer service or contact them via social media to have the rental period ended by the date you've returned the bike. We fellow travelers on this community cannot do that for you.
However there is also work to do for NS: I do notice that there is a lot of signage in OV fiets locations with the new locks instructing what to do in case you'd like to hand in a bike with keys. However, there is no signage whatsoever on how to act when doing the opposite like TS did.
Good morning, one question, why am I being charged as if I had used the bike? Supposedly 3 days ago, which I didn't do. Can you answer that? I left the bike at the station. I don't even think I'll pay for something I didn't do, so I hope they fix that (another very important thing is that the times I've used the NS bike it has been in bad condition, the light doesn't work or the tire lacks air, who is responsible for that? And when you go to return the bike where you picked it up, it doesn't close the first time, you have to try many times to close the bike's key ,If it's not registered in your system is it my fault? that's very annoying, this happened to me in Horst-Sevenum
I have a very bad experience in Horst as they also stole parts of my electric bike there and another thing I asked and it is a suggestion why don't they put more boxes to store the bikes since there is a lot of space for it, I don't see it as safe to leave my electric bike there. I think that is possible, a girl answered me that I am on a waiting list, that for me is not a solution if my bike or parts are stolen, the station is obviously RESPONSIBLE isn't that true? I haven't seen any cameras or any kind of security at that station (I hope that this year or next they can think more about security).
and answering that they understand or are sorry doesn't help me at all (another thing, I have an important question, I already have my new bike and I've seen on the train that you can't get on with a big bike except after 9 or 4, I'm not sure but that schedule seems awful to me since I have to go to work at 7 AM and I would like, especially in WINTER, to go by train with my bike. Is there a solution for that? Or are you also going to answer that you are very sorry.

Welcome to our NS Community, K Arauz aguilera. I'm sorry you've had a bad experience. It's best to contact our customer service for rentals that have been not closed properly. As for the condition of the OV-bikes, you can return the bike within 15 minutes without any charges and file the reason you've returned it. Someone will then take a look at the bike it concerns.Â

I can put in a suggestion for the station Host-Sevenum to acquire more space for boxes. I'm unsure if that's possible. I'm so sorry for the stolen parts from your own bike! Where exactly did you put the bike? If it's not in a secured amenity we are not responsible.

I know sorry doesn't help the situation, but sometimes it's all we cán do. Bikes are not allowed during the week between 6:30-09:00 and 16:00-18:30 because these are the rush hours, where the space in the trains in reserved for people and bikes take up too much space, which will cause issues. This will not change even if I did make the suggestion.Â
