Refund for tickets I won’t use

Hello,
Last Saturday I bought tickets to go from Nijmegen to Rhenen on the NL app. I wanted to go yesterday but bought the tickets for the 7th October. As I won’t be using those tickets and as this date is not over yet, is it possible to get a refund for my tickets? If yes, how should I proceed?

Tickets bought via the app unfortunately cannot be altered or refunded. This is due to the risk of fraud: malicious people could take a screenshot of their ticket and then ask for a refund, enabling them to (illegally) travel for free.

I bought two tickets at the ticket counter from Brussels to Amsterdam last Friday Aug. 16th but missed the last training and ended up spending the night at the train station and buying another train ticket back. Is there any way I can get a refund for the unused tickets?
