I am Planning to travel from Maastrict to Amsterdam with some of my friends and we were planning to take a off peak group ticket. But an IC connection is shown. Can we travel with the OFF PEAK GROUP TICKET in IC Train ?

Bekijk origineelYes, you can travel with regular NS trains within the Netherlands. The ticket is not valid in Nightjet, Thalys and Eurostar, and you have to pay a supplement for IC Direct and ICE trains. But you won’t use these train types from Maastricht to Amsterdam (and back).
As long as you don’t travel within peak hours, you can use every train that the journey planner advises.
