There will be a strike on 28 May whole day in 3 major cities including AMS.
I just wondering will it also impact on traveling to Schiport?

The railway network in The Netherlands is very complicated. Many long routes so if 3 cities are affected, almost a lot of routes are affected because trains cannot leave or continue in those 3 cities. Since the news is just a few hours old, the NS has probably no answer yet because they have to look for the consequences and they need time for that. Maybe they will skip some trains or maybe create some alternative routes.

Thanks for the quick response and seems we can only keep waiting for the reaction from NS. 😞

The trade unions are calling for a strike for public transport in the big city's and for trains throughout the Netherlands, If it continues, there will be no trains on 28 may during te entire day.
It could get even bigger, the regional bus-services are also considering strikes, they will confirm before 15th May if they join the strikes.
Their online service gave me some response:
Since Schiphol Airport is at Amsterdam this will also be effecting Schiphol Airport.
Then, I can only change the way to airport on that day. That's really bad.....

GVB=city trafic Amsterdam will also, of course, join the strike. They do that always with the slightest of excuses.
Even if Connexxion=regional bus will not join, in general always here in NL then they will not transport passengers inside in Amsterdam-out of fear to ''break the strike'' of their GVB-colleagues. Try UBER, taxi' s will also seize the chance to fleece on those days.
This is the 2nd strike of the unions to protest against raising the age one gets pension.
