Last December, I rented a bike last month for 3 or 4 days. I thought it would cost €1,00/day for the first 2 days and then additional costs for the 3rd and 4th day. Surprisingly I received a €29,75 invoice. I would like to understand what I am paying… Thanks in advance! Cynthia
In 2021 it was €3,95 per 24 hours. After more than 72 hours it costs €5 per day extra.
In 2022 it is €4,15 per 24 hours.
Before you decide to rent an OV-fiets it would be wise to check the costs so the invoice won't be such a surprise. All costs can be found here.
Looking at the amount of €29,75 it would be 5 times €3,95 plus 2 times €5. You can also check the invoice in your MijnNS for the details.

I read the instructions pretty carefully more than 5 times to evaluate the costs of renting an OV-bike.
Unfortunately the invoice is not available. I do not know why… I am trying for weeks to access it...
In the website (and you confirmed) it is said that
Voor het gebruik van een OV-fiets betaal je € 3,95 per keer, tot 24 uur. Houd je de OV-fiets langer, dan betaal je een extra huurperiode (maximaal 72 uur). Na 72 uur betaal je daarbij per 24 uur een toeslag van € 5,00.
I rented the bike on 23-12 around 15.00 and returned it on 27-12 around 12.00 (PM). So I was waiting:
- 23-12 15.00 to 24-12 15.00: 24h - €3,95
- 24-12 15.00 to 25-12 15.00: 24h - €3,95
- 25-12 15.00 to 26-12 15.00: 24h - €3,95
- 26-12 15.00 to 27-12 13.00: ~22h - €3,95 + €5,00
- TOTAL: €20,80
So it was not clear to me (clearly I am not Dutch) that 24 hours is 12.00 AM!!! Only now I understood, but it is still not satisfied with the website information.

Well… I was discussing this issue with my sister (the one who used the bike). She does not read Dutch, so she sent me the English version of the website:
Renting an OV-fiets costs€ 4.15 up to 24 hours."
Really annoying do not have access to my invoice. I do not agree with NS calculation. According to the website, I was wrongly charged (€29,75 i.p.v. €20,80). I hope someone can solve this issue.

I'd recommend you contact our Customer Service in this case FamiliaBMMR. They're able to take a look if there are any mistakes in your invoice and also figure out why you currently can't view your invoices at all. They'll make sure that you will be able to view them afterwards.
The rekening=invoice can ONLY be accessed via the SITE=www. NOT on the app on the fone. This to utter surprise of many askers here on this forum. It should be obvious to always check first what is stated there.

It looks like your My NS-account is not linked to your contract. Please contact our costumer service so they can check the invoices and they can link your My NS-account to your contract so you will be able to see your invoices.
