About the subscription discount

I ordered it for a card that I already have, but since I'm new in The Netherlands I didn't know I had to activate it at a machine, I asked around me but no one told me that.Is there anyways to do something about it ? Like reimburse the difference ? If not I can understand.Thank you for you answer.
