About the subscription discount

Hello, I'm contacting you because I noticed that even though I subscribed to the 2,20€ subscription that gives me 40% off on the week-ends, yesterday (saturday evening) when I went to Leiden from The Hague, the discount did not applied. 

I would like to understand why and what to do for the discount to apply.

Good afternoon Manon Sclavon. Please contact our Customer Service for this. My collegaues might be able to help you. You can reach them by phone, via chat or Social Media.

I ordered it for a card that I already have, but since I'm new in The Netherlands I didn't know I had to activate it at a machine, I asked around me but no one told me that.

Is there anyways to do something about it ? Like reimburse the difference ? If not I can understand.

Did you order the subscription on a card that you already had? Then you need to activate it at a machine (station or supermarket), choose Bestelling ophalen (pick up order).
