For the "Dal Voordeel" card, when it say that there is "40% joint journey discount during off-peak hours for up to 3 passengers travelling with you", that mean that they can take their ticket at a machine and take the discount, even if they don't have the "Dal Voordeel" card themselves?
And how is this used? How do I buy tickets with disciunt? I can only do this via the app or also at a machine?

Through our website, you can purchase a Samenreiskorting e-ticket for your travel companions. There you can also read more information about the Samenreiskorting. They can purchase a Samenreiskorting ticket online through the first link mentioned above or from the ticketmachine at the station.
It is also possible to load the Samenreiskorting onto the OV-chipcard should they be in possession of one. This can be done through the person's My NS account or it can be loaded onto the OV-chipcard at the ticket machine at the station.
