I was double charged this month for NS even though I have weekend free subscription. I would like to know why I was double charged and if I could get my money that was taken back

You can download the invoice from Mijn NS, under ‘My payments'.
The invoice has detailed information on what you're being charged for.

If after looking at the invoice you feel something's incorrect, please contact Customer Service.
