I activated one of NS Subscription on my NS card on Sep 12 (Altijd Voordeel) and payed 24.2 for the first month, but unfortunately I found that 20% discount has not been applied on my travels during rush hours; would you please clarify why it has not been applied?

Hi Monash,

Before you activated the subscription, did you need to load balance on your chipcard to travel? If that's the case, the subscription also needs to be activated on your card at a ticket machine on a station. You should have received an e-mail about this.

If that's not the case, you should contact Customer Service directly by phone, chat, Facebook or Twitter. This is a community for fellow travelers to help each other, we don't have access to the administration.

If you paid € 24,20 you probably didn’t have NS Flex yet.

Activate it at a service point (pick up order/bestelling ophalen), see https://www.ov-chipkaart.nl/service-and-contact/service-points-finder.htm?servicetype=3 for where (all ticket machines and also supermakets or other stores).
