My card doesn't work when I want to check in. I have the card that travel free on weekends. But if want to check in it says "Balance low".

Did you activate it on a ticket machine? You do need to if you have ordered it on an existing card. Weekendvrij is a so called Flex subscription. Is the starting date in the future?

When the starting day has passed and you have activated it on an existing card it should work. Otherwise call Customer Service.
