Did you check in during off-peak hours? Checking in during peek hours does not give any reduction.

Hello, on Monday 25/ March an incorrect deduction of €50 was charged in my IV chip card saying I forgot to check in however I have already checked in at Amsterdam central and checked out in Almere which my usual commute. Can you please explain why this additional charge is levied on my card? I request you to reverse this charge in my invoice
I would like to ask you to contact our customer service via phone, chat, Facebook at X. Through this forum we cannot help you with your question.
Hello , I wanted to tell you I received my travel invoice and what surprised me is that I took a trip on September 9th without paying, But I have the free weekends subscription , and I didn't take any trips for that date except the a night before that on September 8, when I boarded at around 10:00 PM, I arrived at the final destination at 1:30 AM, which still included the subscription , how did I travel without paying? They charged me for 50€ which is not correct.
Good morning Mehrab. Welcome to the NS Community.
My best guess would be that you accidentally checked in (again) that night, resulting in a skewed transaction. As stated above, please contact our customer service to have this looked into and hopefully corrected.
@Mehrab €50 is the correction fee when you are checked by a conductor and don’t have a valid check-in. Maybe you checked in with the wrong company (NS, Arriva, Blauwnet, Keolis). Where did your journey start?
