I travel everyday on this path from Schiedam to Schipol and back.
I might have forgotten to check-in at Schipol (and its very easy to miss at Schipol) and I noticed that the system didn’t fill in based on my travel history (as NS claims that it will be filled in). 

However, upon claiming refund, I noticed that I still have to pay for the whole journey. This doesn’t make sense to me, as I have the subscription and I travel same path daily, it should have been fully reimbursed. Penalizing this way is very harsh. 

 

 

Can someone from NS help me with this? 

Seems like the refund system doesn't account for your subscription. You should contqct customer support. They are not active on this forum, which is intended for travellers to help each other. Try reaching out to them through phone, social media, the chat at ns.nl or (not electronic) mail.
