Quick Question based on two examples below:

Passenger A travels from station A to E - not getting refunds for delays below 60 mins as the value to be reimbursed is below 2.30 Euro

Passenger B travels from station A to F is getting refunds for delays below 60 mins as the value to be reimbursed is slightly above 2.30 Euro

With 35-40 delays/cancellations a year passenger B is approx 80-90 Euros ahead compared to passenger A.

We are talking about regular subscriptions covering daily commuting routes.

Has anybody ever approached this mess from that angle?

Are there any offical watchdogs here in the Netherlands challenging such discriminatory(?) policies?

Personally I relate to passenger A who's been commuting on the same route for nearly 3 years. Why would I keep falling behind compared to those who travel one station further?!

According to the European Commission (https://transport.ec.europa.eu/document/download/e416e1e2-af3e-40c9-b54c-931e0b8fa76c_en?filename=2007_1371_national_enforcement_bodies-2022-09-21.pdf) in NL the “Inspectie Leefomgeving en Transport (IL&T)” is the national enforcement body.
Their website in English is https://english.ilent.nl.

But these weird limits are unfortunately usually accepted in The Netherlands. There are even tax refunds you are for some reason not entitled too if the (yearly) sum is too small.
