The 5.20 train is no longer part of the schedule from the 15th of December on.

Due to a stranded train, the service is interrupted and/or delayed between Purmerend and Amsterdam Sloterdijk.

Well... the issues originated in Hoorn. People got stuck at the platform for approx 50 mins. There were at least 3 ICs

passing by. At least one could have stopped in such situation to take passengers to Zandam. The train at 5.21 appears on the schedule per NS app. Checked for next week. 

Funny thing (not really) is that I was checking departure times for today last Thursday and the dis not seem to be showing the updated schedule. Well... still getting used to that.

Where did you get this information? As shown above there is a train 5:21 (5:20ish as TS put it). It only wasn't scheduled for today probably due to the construction works. That's probably also wht this train was removed from the schedule late. The other delays were caused by these works being finished late.

The screenshot above is for next Monday. Today there was no 5:21 train and 5:40 was cancelled.

Yep -  took it as Jan claimed that this service was permanently removed from the schedule. I just moved in to Purmerend. There’s so many people on the platform in the morning. 2 trains per hour? Feels insufficient for such a large town.

It not the New schedule, but prorail is working on the tracks this week.
