Hello!
I have checked the NS app and every other day except Saturday there is a direct train from Den Haag Centraal to Purmerend (i.e. at 18.09 on Friday and every other day of the week), why is this the case? I would need to go there on Saturday, are there no direct trains that day?

Bekijk origineelNO trains at all via airportstation, i think-you have to detour and change at Sloterdijk. Every weekend-this time here, next week there, there are some sectors of rails that need to be checked or repaired.
There is maintanance work carried out between Schiphol and Leiden on Saturday and therefore there are no direct trains. You can consult the travelplanner for alternative travel options.
