How many pieces of luggage are allowed in total for one person? My trip is from Amsterdam to Maastricht.

There are no official limitations like in planes. When you can carry them alone, there is no problem. But it is a rule of thumb. A little more is also no problem as long as you do not block seats. There is a limit for a suitcase of 85 centimeters, but in general trainconductors oversee this.
