Hi all,

I recently took the Öbb nightjet from Munich to Amsterdam (can recommend, very comfortable) but unfortunately I left something in the train. Who do I need to contact, would they clean up the train in Amsterdam and then leave the found things there or take them back to Munich or (since it's Öbb) Vienna?

I tried contacting the öbb but they don't respond at all. I declared a lost+found form in both Vienna and with NS, but since it's an international train it's almost impossible to fill those in. Therefore i would appreciate some help if one of you has experienced this before or someone has another idea.

Thanks!

ÖBB has a online tool for it: https://fundamt.novafind.eu/home/at/oebb/app?cultureName=en

If the end station was Amsterdam and it was found, it'll be delivered to our Lost and Found network. If you've already filled in the form, that's good. I'd advise you to wait a day and call to see if it's been found.

Thanks for the quick reactions. Indeed, I filled in the forms in both countries but neither of them found it, so I am wondering where else I could look for it.

There is nothing more you can do. If they find it they will notify you. If they don't find it then it's probably gone.
