Hi,

Is my understanding correct about this train:

  1. If I take NS International Eurocity direct from Lelystad to Schiphol airport I can check-in and check-out using OV-chipkaart like a normal domestic train (so subscriptions will also work).
  2. If I take NS International Eurocity direct from Lelystad to Rotterdam centraal I can check-in and check-out using OV-chipkaart like a normal domestic train (so subscriptions will also work), provided I also check-in at “toeslaag” device at the Boarding station.
  3. If I take NS International Eurocity direct from Lelystad to Antwerp/Brussels I need to buy ticket and not use OV-chipkaart.

Correct. If you have a subscription, you can indicate on www.nsinternational.com which subscription you have and it will be taken into account. Although for some fares it doesn't apply.

For Eurocity Direct, the discount your subscription applies up to Rotterdam.

If you take the regular Eurocity (which also stops in Breda), your discount applies up to the NL-BE border crossing.

For international, no surgcharge/toeslag is needed.
