i cant change my bank account. why?

So what happens if you try?

Somehow, in one of my accounts I can’t seem to change the IBAN either.

Got mails from NS (“something is wrong with your authorisation for auto debit”) so I called my bank and they directed me to NS.

I called NS Customer Service. They told me to wait a month for the next payment to go through (it didn’t) and then call them again.

After that, they assured me the IBAN was changed to some other I gave them, and now I could change it back to Revolut (a totally valid NL IBAN) without issues.

My account now shows the ASNB IBAN I gave them (which is a backup) but changing it… no go! 

Another Mijn NS account has the same (Revolut) IBAN and works perfectly fine. Changing it works fine (if I wanted to to that).

Gremlins… Keep contacting NS until they sort it out. 🙄
