I ordered the wrong ticket for tomorrow, can you help me to cancel this order? The order number is

E513082580 Thank you!

Hello @Yiwen Huang,

Did you order an e-ticket for tomorrow which is wrong? Do not open the e-ticket!

Maybe the NS Customerservice can help you. Mostly e-tickets are not refundable, because they cannot check if you already used the ticket and they cannot make the e-ticket unvalid as well.

Try to contact the NS Customerservice by calling 030-751 51 55 (24/7 available). I hope they can help you 😀

Unfortunately, you cannot cancel or change an e-ticket. This concerns a proof of sight of which we cannot see whether it has been used or will be used. We also cannot see whether the ticket has been opened or not.

Once you downloaded the ticket (via the button in the e-mail) it counts as ‘opened’ and valid, even if you didn’t load it in the NS app or printed it.

As long as you don’t click the ‘import’ or ‘download/print’ buttons on the order page, tickets can be refunded. So, it’s advisable to not do that unless/until you are very sure that you will use the ticket.

The order page (after payment) always shows when the language is set to English, but you will also get an e-mail with a link to the same page for use later. For Dutch, you will only receive the e-mail.

@Robert B Thanks for the further explanation.

Once you downloaded the ticket (via the button in the e-mail) it counts as ‘opened’ and valid, even if you didn’t load it in the NS app or printed it.

How to handle to get a refund when not opened the e-ticket?

You can best get in touch with customer service and explain your situation.
