Your subscription is only valid in the Netherlands, up to the border. On the NSI website, you can book tickets with the discount "Free on NS route”. That way, you only pay for the Belgian part.
Depending on what fare is available, it can be cheaper to split the tickets in Noorderkempen, especially during weekends. NMBS (Belgian railways) have cheap weekend tickets.
