Parking on P+R station Breda - do I get the discount also if I don't take the train but travel with a tram, bus or metro after? And if so, does the distance meter? ( I just want to do a small trip in/around the Breda area).

You could buy a € 1,56 e-ticket from Prinsenbeek to Breda at https://www.ns.nl/producten/en/meest-gekocht/p/samenreisticket_enkele_reis_daluren
Scan the code when leaving the P+R and you will get the discount for train travelers.
