How to change OV to new OV

Hello,

My old OV expired and I want to change it in my NS but I cannot find that option. Is it even possible? Thanks!

Hi guys, thanks for your answer. What I meant is that I had OV card and it expired. I have a new one for couple of months and I want to connect it to my NS.

It should be possible via https://www.ns.nl/en/mijnns#/dashboard (bottom of the screen) After that, you can delete the expired card (if you don’t need it anymore for e.g. Transaction History).

    Welcome to our NS Community, Vale. What do you mean change? You can apply for a OV-chipcard renewal through: https://www.ov-chipkaart.nl/terminate-or-replace/what-to-do-with-an-expired-card.htm.

    IF you have a current NS subscription, then the new card should be announced to come some 8-10 weeks before expiry, with the question if old foto can still be used or not. Then it is free.

    IF you simply have a personal card (with foto+name on) and want to have a same one after expiry, then go via ov-chipcard and pay 7,50. It is wise to open an account with them-you can then follow procedure and link old card to new.
