I definitely had scanned my personal ov-card at Utrecht Central station but was counted as no check-in. And the system tells me “U kunt nu nog geen vergeten check in of check out claimen voor een reis met een NS Flex product.” That makes no sense.

Sorry to read this. When exactly was this? A trip with NS Flex can sometimes take a few days to be processed and fully visible. If there is a need to get anything corrected, I recommend contacting customer service directly.
