Dear NS team,

 

Recently I changed to NS Flex which states that I do not need to load balance on my card while taking trains, trams, metros and buses. Unfortunately that is not the case, I have picked up the product in machine and I have been using it with train without problems, but then I got into a tram and received a message "betaal anders saldo te laag". How can this be? I also checked my history and it displays that cash was taken from my card during a tram ride and I no longer can use it in trams.

 

How do I deal with this issue?

When you can travel with Flex by train and not by Bus Tram and Metro, the latter is deactivated. Mostly because of  subscription for a bus or whatever. In that case all other journeys are paid with a balance. When you do not have a subscription for a Bus, Tram or Metro, you can reactivate this part of Flex again. You do need to contact Customer Service and you do not need a balance anymore. 030 7515155.
