I signed up for NS flex October 17th 2021, and It appeared that I would pay a direct debit each month (I.e. First bill on November 17th), however l have not yet been charged for the month and I would prefer to pay now. It now also says in the app, next invoice - December 17th.

 

Is there a way to pay my current bill now? 

The withdrawal from your bank account is always a few days later than the date of the invoice. This is what it says on the invoice too. Have you looked at the actual invoice? You can find it in Mijn NS (the website, not the app); go to Facturen.

The app simply says December 17th is the next invoice because November 17th has passed. It has no relation to the date the amount is withdrawn from your bank account.

So in short, just wait, the withdrawal will take place in a few days and you cannot manually transfer the money now.
