Hi, I’ve just got my personal ov chipkaart card delivered. However, the back of the card is blue and only the front is yellow. As far as I know, the normal personal ov chipkaart is yellow on both side. Is it normal that my card is like this?

Do not worry. NS uses a different colour but everything remains the same, you do have a valid card.

Seems like sort of a cost reduction, they don’t print the back of the cards anymore so personal cards now have the same (blue) backside as anonymous cards.
The backside of cards contains nothing specific anyway, like the CVC/CVV numbers on creditcards or contact details of NS Customer Service.
