As long as you conform to the conditions of your ticket there are no extra time limits on train tickets in the Netherlands. You can travel on any train on the same day.

Usually yes. On some international routes a ticket is only valid for a specific train. For all other trains it doesn't matter which train you take, as long as the date is correct.

I'm not sure what you mean by "connecting ticket” but if you miss your connection, you can use the next train.
