Dal Vrij you mean?
That's only for trains.
If you have a single-use chipcard ticket that says “1 Dag Trein Vrij”, then it's only for trains. If it says “1 Dag OV Vrij", then it's also for bus, tram and metro. If it says something else, you need to be more specific about which ticket you've got.
In addition to above answers, I want to add that a train ticket (or subscription) will be valid on rail replacement buses. It’s only not valid on line buses.
