Yes this is annoying. Very annoying. Having no train station around cannot be justified no matter what you say. Your excuses are not accepted. Transportation is very important to all of us just like food and drinks. I just moved to Wageningen and I'm surprised there is no train station in the city. How come small villages have a train station while a student city like Wageningen have none??? Taking a bus is not handy. It is only time consuming. If there is no other option, then NS must provide us free buses - to and from - main stations. I mean the cost of the bus must be included with the cost of the train ticket. We cannot pay for the bus and then again pay for the train. That would be too much. Transportation in the Netherlands is expensive as hell. In fact I would not have moved to Wageningen if I knew there is no train station around. What is more ridiculous is that Ede train station is called Ede-Wageningen!!!!!! Are you kidding me??? I thought this station is in Wageningen, while in fact it is at least 10km away from the centre of Wageningen. Even my Dutch friends were surprised when I told them about this. NS must change the name of the station IMMEDIATELY because it is an absolute fraud.
