Your date of birth normally never changes. Changing it in the system can only be done via customer service because such a request is often an indication for fraud. They may ask you to explain why you want to change your birthdate.

You should however be able to change your address yourself in the system.

The most likely reason is a typing error.Or unfamiliarity with the calendar system used on the website. It happens.
