I already have a BUS Subscription on my card and I was wondering if I could add an NS Subscription to it.

Yes, you can add an NS Flex subscription without the BTM (bus/tram/metro) part.
If your bus subscription entitles you to free travel, you can keep the NS Flex BTM part, and travel elsewhere in bus/tram/metro without balance.
