I have a situation where I bought a subscription “dal voordeel” on 16 aug for continuously and cancel on 30 sep. I had travelled on 29 sep in non peak hours. am I eligible for 40% on the fare or do I need to pay back the discount ? Do I get back part of subscription amount based on pro rata ?

If you cancelled on 30 September, then you still had the subscription on 29 Sept, so you were eligible for 40% discount.
After 1 month, you can cancel or change a subscription on any day you like and you then indeed get back part of the amount on a pro rata basis, on the next invoice.
+5Did you check in during off peak hours? That is compulsory for reduction.
