Hi RamChandangar,

Peak hours are from 6.30 - 9.00 am and from 4.00 - 6.30 pm. There's a 5 minute margin, so you can check-in and travel for free until 4.05 pm. You were one minute too late unfortunately.

ps Wordt Almere Buiten in het Engels nou echt weergegeven als Almere Outside?! 🤔
(Is Almere Buiten really translated as Almere Outside?!)

hi there,  i saw this helpful info.

But to my understanding,  the picture shows that the checkin time was 4:05. Why does it not count as the free dal vrij?  If you say 5-min margin,  i think this case is free.  If I checkin at 4:06, i would be 1min late.  Could you please help to ask me?  Thanks

It is free until 4:05 pm, not until and including. So you can check in at 4:04 and 59 second to travel free with Dal Vrij. Once the clock says 4:05 pm it is too late to travel free.

The margin is 5 minutes so when the clock changes to 4:05 pm (or 16:05 on the screen) the margin has expired.

In other words, with the (unofficial) 5 minutes margin, peak hours start at 16:05:00
