Hello, while trying to order a new OV chipkaart with a photo to activate NS Flex I have this problem: “Deze OV-chipkaart kan niet meer worden gebruikt voor NS Flex. Kies voor een gratis nieuwe OV-chipkaart. (E100)”. I’ve read to change name, just for it to be one-word, but it didn’t solve the problem.

Hi bbr,

This is a known error. There are many complaints about this error lately. You're ordering a new OV-chipcard, so the error message doesn't make any sense.

You should contact customer service directly by phone, chat, Facebook or Twitter. They probably can sort it out for you.

An OV-chipcard needs to be replaced after five years. There is a date at the lower right corner. When It is close to this date of after It, you do need a new card.

Haha, whatever https://duckduckgo.com/?q=e100+error+ns+flex
