I have taken personalised ov chip card for my 5 year old son and applied for kids vrij subscription. And I have received email stating I should be taking season ticket to ov chip card machine to activate it. But from where to get season ticket?

If you got a personal card for your son and ordered Kids Vrij afterwards, the Kids Vrij needs to be activate/loaded on the card at an ov-chipkaart service point (choose pick up order).
That can be any machine at a train station, but also machines at e.g. supermarkets. See here for where in your area https://www.ov-chipkaart.nl/en/service-points-finder
