Hi guys!

I have recently bought the NS flex subscription for a fixed route. My start destination is Utrecht central and end is Amsterdam RAI. I’m paying for this route . My question is if i have to pay for the metro to actually get to Amsterdam RAI because there is no direct intercity train to it?

Thank you for your help guys!

The Traject Vrij season ticket only covers train travel on your route. If you take the metro, you need to pay extra for that.

Although there’s no direct intercity service between Utrecht Centraal and Amsterdam RAI, you can take a train to Amsterdam Zuid and then a sprinter to Amsterdam RAI if you don’t want to pay extra. If you disable Metro/Subway in the travel options in the NS journey planner, you will get this advice. Make sure to change platforms on Amsterdam Zuid without passing through the gates; that will cost you extra too.
