NS Flex Traject Vrij naar Amsterdam Zuid, maar gesloten

Dear NS.NL Klantservice,

I have a subscription “NS Flex Traject Vrij “ to Amsterdam Zuid station. Unfortunately this station will be closed for a few weeks. Should I cancel my subscription or will you refund me the extra metro costs?

The metro is free for NS travellers.  Choose open gate.

    Tot een aantal jaar geleden frequente reiziger. Reizen met de trein is minder leuk geworden

    From where to Amsterdam Zuid is your Traject Vrij? You might be unpleasantly surprised when having to transfer via Centraal or Lelylaan and then a metro.

    Although gates (look for them) are open for NS travellers, you still need to tap out and in (at e.g. Bijlmer or RAI or above mentioned stations).

    From Amsterdam Amstel or Duivendrecht and then a metro there is no problem, just stay checked in with NS and check out at Zuid at a temporary NS pole at the open GVB gate.
