I need to travel Monday to Friday from the Metro station Zalmplaat in Hoogvliet to Central Station Den Haag.
Can someone advise me the best abonnement I can subscribe?

The cheapest option would be to only travel with RET metro en not NS trains.
You would then need a 4 star subscription for €176 per month or €1760 per year.
If you want to travel with RET and NS you would need a RET 2 star subscription plus a NS Traject Vrij subscription from Schiedam - Den Haag Central for a total of €206,50 per month or €2300 per year.
The travel time with only RET metro is longer, but quite a bit cheaper.

The option of RET only also gives you the right to use bustram IN den Haag-centre zone and even also Delft (but NOT by NS-train!!) and other surrounding places so it depends if you also make other trips cheap.
You need a personal chipcard (=with name+foto) and this does not come free-have to order first via ov-chipkaart, when you have it best go to a RET office and let them install it for you.
